After receiving the renewal notice from MoM (Ministry of Manpower), you can proceed with the renewal of your domestic helper / non-domestic worker's work permit. The renewal notice is usually sent out by MoM about 8 weeks before the work permit expires. Once you have received the notice, you can renew your worker's security and necessary insurance and then proceed with the work permit renewal.
Sure, you can. Drop us a line and we will assist you.
The $5,000 Security Bond to MoM that you purchase along with the helper insurance only allows Insurer to act as a guarantor by providing a Letter of Guarantee to MoM on your behalf. This frees you from the need to pay the $5,000 cash up front to MoM when you are applying for a domestic helper.

However If you or your domestic helper breaches the rules and conditions set by MoM, MoM will call for the bond from the Insurer and Insurer will recover it from you.

When you take up our Security Bond Protector add-on. It will limit your liability on the $5,000 Security Bond to MOM to $200 (lowest in the market) instead. This is provided that the breach of the $5,000 Security Bond is not due to your negligence or fault. This feature is an optional add-on and you will need to pay a small fee for this.
This is an MoM requirement. MoM requires all insurance and bond to have an additional 2 months of cover so that in any event / reason the domestic helper overstays in Singapore after her work permit has expired, she is still covered under the insurance.
For our Domestic Helper Insurance policy, the premium are charge for a 12 or 24 month period only. There are no additional premium for the additional 2 months of cover.

Yes, you are covered for outpatient treatments provided that they are a result of accident. This is subject to a maximum limit of of the plan purchased.
If the policy / bond guarantee details have been transmitted to MoM successfully, you may contact us directly to make the amendments together with the Security Bond Form (Chapter 91A). However, the amendment status is subject to approval by MoM and takes estimated 3 working days for a response.

Applying a new Work Permit for a migrant domestic worker (MDW) who is:
  • Non-Malaysian at least aged 23 and below 50.
Or
  • Malaysian and at least aged 23 and below 58.
Apply a Work Permit for her.
Renewing your current MDW's Work Permit Renew her Work Permit until she is aged 60.
From 1 July 2023, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will implement enhancements to the mandatory medical insurance (MI) for all new and existing Work Permit (including Migrant Domestic Workers) and S Pass holders.

2     As announced previously, the MI enhancements will better protect employers should large medical bills be incurred by their foreign employees. Under the current $15,000 coverage limit, more than 5% of bills incurred exceed this limit and could put these employers under financial strain. As medical costs rise, this proportion will increase further over time. The higher annual claim limit of $60,000 will cover larger and more bills. This will minimise out-of-pocket expenses by employers, especially considering rising medical costs. We estimate that more than 99% of bills will fall within the new coverage and employers can have peace of mind.
